The Group
The SGS Underwater Group is a recreational diving section of the *Freizeitgemeinschaft Siemens Erlangen e.V.* (Siemens Erlangen Recreational Association). It was founded in 1961 by Siemens employees. Our goal is to promote the sport of diving and make it accessible to a wide audience.
To ensure you can enjoy diving safely and with environmental awareness, we offer comprehensive training for both scuba and snorkel diving, catering to all levels from beginner to advanced.
The group is a non-profit organization and is open to non-Siemens employees as well.
We are members of the Bavarian State Sports Association (BLSV), the Bavarian State Diving Association (BLTV), and the Association of German Sports Divers (VDST).
