Training
Scuba diving training begins with fin-swimming practice. It proceeds to the German Diving Sport Brevet (DTSA) basic certification—designed to introduce the fundamentals—and continues via the DTSA Basic level to an introduction to open-water diving.
Training progresses from the DTSA * (basic open-water training) to the DTSA ** and DTSA *** levels, which qualify divers to conduct scuba dives independently.
The DTSA **** diver expands their diving horizons by supplementing their existing knowledge and skills with further experience.
The underwater group trains its members in accordance with the guidelines of the Association of German Sport Divers (VDST).
